HP ENVY Desktop PC TE02-0000i (3Y3Q7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi guys, I bought a ENVY TE02-0003na and want to add ram. I'm looking at Crucial 2-32GB DDR4-3200 UDIMM 1.2V CL22  - does anyone know whether or not those will be compatible, and will make a difference?

Also, as a newb - are they easy to install?

Thanks!

@spindrifter,

Welcome to our HP community forum!

Yes, according to Crucial, an HP ENVY Desktop PC TE02-0000i can indeed be fitted with 2 x 32GB of DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, DIMM (UDIMM), 288-pin RAM sticks.

Thanks, that is good news. I'll figure out how to put them in when they arrive. Sorry for asking such newbie questions but I am new to opening boxes!

@spindrifter,

You're welcome!

Here is a YouTube instructional video how to remove/exchange RAM.  This video pertains to an HP Envy TE01, but should be applicable to your HP Envy TE02: HP Envy TE01 3244 Upgrade RAM (youtube.com).

Thanks again Non Sequitur - the pc in the video looks very different to mine, but I'm sure I'll be ok.

Thanks so much for all your help!
