HP Pavilion Gaming TG01-2400ng

I've bought HP Pavilion Gaming TG01-2400ng  (https://support.hp.com/lt-en/document/c08035402) and I want to add second SSD. I see that is has second M.2 slot, but I don't know if it is already used by some device or not.

So can I use that slot to insert another SSD or is it in use?

You can't use the slot with the "A"  key for an upgrade M.2 SSD.

That is generally used for the wifi module.

M.2 slots for M.2 NVME SSD use keys "B" and "M" and usually accept 2280 format M.2 SSD products.

You wil need to open the PC to see if the M.2 slot with the "A" key  is indeed already in use.

You can use an adapter that will fit in an available PCIe slot. I have one of those to use for cloning in my desktop PC.

The type you should use is for NVMe type M.2 SSD.

I will edit this to include an online vendor source that is local to you in Europe.

Done! The adapters are inexpensive.
