HP Pavilion 27 -d1340t PC 20W67AA#ABA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After Upgrade on 10/15/2021 to windows 11 on my new HP Pavilion 27 All-In-One, the windows update under Settings stop working correctly. I know it is not working correctly because I have a Laptop 17.3 that I just purchased with windows 11 installed.  I have own over 10 HP computers and I have always made sure to do the upgrade when Microsoft post it in the windows update. When I click on check for update it only state "Something Went Wrong, try to open Settings Later". There is no error code.  I hope someone can help me to fix this issue before I return the computer.

I have fixed the problems that I were having with my upgrading to windows 11.  The problem was with the installation of Vipre Advanced Security.  After Removal using their removal tool the issues went away.

None of the Technical Support personals I worked with from Microsoft or HP suggested to remove or uninstall Vipre my Antivirus program.  I just keep doing things on my owe to try and solve the problems because I gave up on the support person.

This appears to be a Micro$oft problem and not an HP one.  Windows 11 Build 22000 was released for beta testing the exact day you upgraded your working system.  You might be doing beta testing for Micro$oft:  what build are your running?.   I would look for answers at answers.microsoft or restore your system.

Thanks, but the problems and issues I were having now seem to be because of VIPRE Advanced Security I installed on my computer.  After I removed/uninstall Vipre from my PC the issues went away and now everything seems to be working fine.
