I have upgraded my memory from DDR3 8 GB to 32GB 1333mzh, but  it is showing Memory error 164, after pressing F1 key it started but taking too much time to boot

Just how did you upgrade it?

Did you install a pair of compatible memory modules or did you add to existing original memory?

That is a memory size issue, which indicates that the BIOS has problems with the memory you installed.

Thank you for your response.

I just Installed  a pair of compatible 8GB memory modules as a replacement of previous chips.

Previously I had 2x 2GB DDR3 and one 4GB in 3 slots, which I took out and put two new 8GB memories in two similar slots. Then the problem of slow booting started.

I do not know how to resolve this problem. Please help

Which slots did you place the 8gb modules in?

Had you considered using the HP Hardware Diagnostics UEFI Utility to test the new memory?

How close to your hard drivers capacity is your C drive?
