Hi All,

I'd like to replace the 1T internal HD with a 1T internal SSD, but not all device are compatible with the bios/motherboard.

How to get a compatible SSD?

( All-in-One-24-e015nl )

Thanks!

Hi @Paolo-ma

You need a sata SSD, normally no problem
Crucial MX500 SSDs are compatible with many models
otherwise Western Digital - slightly better performing WD Blue SSD
I cannot guarantee 100% compatibility

on the other hand, beware fragile computer

You are correct. Find a computer-store with a good "no questions asked" return/exchange policy, even if the return-period is just a few days. Buy a SSD, and try it. If the motherboard detects it, you will be OK. If the motherboard does not detect it, return it, and exchange it for a SSD by some other manufacturer, and try again.

However, for any computer manufactured by HP or Lenovo or by ASUS, I would fully expect that ANY SSD will be compatible.
