Product: HP Pavilion Gaming 790-0020
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

So on the driver page for my desktop I looked at update history for bios and I saw they added support for intel cfl core i7 9700 does this genuinely mean I can get this i5 8400 all the way up to i7 9700?

Looks like it should work, bios 22 or newer will do it.

Fixed in this release: -Added the support for Intel CFL i7-9700 processor
