Am connected to WiFi but have no internet access. Pavilion PC is ~7 years old.

wireless router or windows firewall issue, check the settings of both

 

it's beyond the scope of this forum to teach/list the necessary settings/configurations of both 

 

also check network adapter (Nic) settings select auto for DHCP and network address
