290 G2 Microtower PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

I have a HP 290 G2 Microtower Desktop PC. My computer's specs are:

Intel Pentium Gold G5500 3.80 GHz with Intel UHD Graphics 630

12 GB DDR4 Ram, 128 GB m2 SSD + 500 GB 7200 rpm. HDD

And, I want to add external graphics card into my PC. It doesn't need to be high level graphics card or for gaming card etc... It must be entry or middle level external graphics card with low budget.

What are the suitable graphics card models for my PC? How can I integrate it into my PC? Is it possible?

Thanks in advance,

Regards.

Hi:

I would go with the Nvidia GT 1030 in your PC.

It is a decent card that only draws 30W of power.

It would cost between $80 and $100 USD if you buy it new.

You can get them with or without a fan.  The ones without fans have larger heatsinks but they are quiet and have no fan to die on you.
