Bought this new HP gaming PC from HP a few months ago and found there is no option for BIOS POWER ON as I had on an older HP PC.  How can I get it?

what system (product id) so you have?

I assume by "BIOS POWER ON" you want the computer to turn back on after a power outage.

That is usually include in the BIOS set but may be buried deep in some hard to find spot for modern UEFI bios.

I'm very familiar with the UEFI/BIOS settings and the "power on after outage" is present.  What I'm talking about is auto power on from a completely shut down state on selected days and times.  I had this feature on an older HP PC where I had it set to power on every morning at 6:00 AM-----this is done from a totally shutdown state and it worked great.  Now that feature isn't listed in the BIOS settings.

Hello

[start]This is an automatic response
in order to avoid writing the same thing each time

we need the exact model of your computer, and the product number
To find it follow this
for a desktop computer

HP Desktop PCs - How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number? | HP® Customer Support
and for a laptop
HP Notebook PCs - How Do I Find My Product Name or Number? | HP® Customer Support

Give the full name with the product number P / N

this is not a model:
HP Desktop M01-F1xxx
the requested product number must look like this
Product Number: 9EE50AA # ABA
the model corresponding to this number will therefore be
HP Desktop - M01-F1033wb

It may not help, but with the simpler pattern of searching...
I actually have this function on my computer..
But if not available, there is little chance of remedying it, it is the bios which is designed this way, and probably no update to find this option!

Thank you @Prométhée for posting the computer model.   Unaccountably I can get no information using the id 1K4J3AV.  I assume you looked up the serial number before the MOD deleted it.  If you have some magic way of getting  1K4J3AV to work please PM me.  I am guessing the system is too new to look up.

I am also guessing that HP remove the "Advanced Menu" that allows those power options. Googleing for hp intaractive bios I found two documents for gaming desktop PC.  One showed the Advanced menu, the other did not.

There are a number of valid reasons to use the power on scheduling feature.  If those features show up in the same menu as the "overclocking features" is is probably expedient for HP or any OEM to simply remove the tab from the bios.

There are other ways to have the system power up on a schedule.  It helps to be guru but there are a few walk-throughs to help.

Using windows scheduler

https://www.howtogeek.com/204742/how-to-make-any-computer-boot-up-or-shut-down-on-a-schedule/

having your smartphone do it

https://www.howtogeek.com/70374/how-to-geek-explains-what-is-wake-on-lan-and-how-do-i-enable-it/

It is possible the power on scheduling can show up if the bios  has an option to enable it but the language is not clear such as

"Enable alarm bell".  I am just guessing but I have seen some really strange wording when Chinese is translated to English and not proof read.

Hope This Helps!
