Hello, can anyone could help me?
I am looking to update to update the bios on my HP Compaq 4000 Pro SFF.
I am currently running bios verison 786H7 v2.02 7/9/11
And I am also wondering if it is possible to run a gt 1030 on this pc, I have seen people running this card on the hp compaq 6000 sff, but I am worried that it might not work on this my pc.
Thanks in advance,
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@MysticVolt, welcome to the forum.
Here is the latest BIOS update for the computer. Since your computer was released in 2011 I know that it didn't come with Win 10. The update states for Win 8.
The GT 1030 requires UEFI in the motherboard instead of a Legacy/standard BIOS. The last video cards not to require UEFI are the GTX 660/670 series. Also, these cards require a minimum of 300W to operate properly. Your PSU is only 240W.
Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.
