BIOS Update

I got an email from HP Support this morning about the BIOS Update but how do I know which update of the BIOS is the right one for my desktop, Omen 870-110. Right now mine is the latest BIOS version, AMI F45 and the date is 5/22/2019. I am not sure how to check the update of BIOS from HP Support. Let me know if there is the latest update for this desktop.

Open

Control Panel > icon view > Administrative Tools > double-tap System Information

Check:

BIOS Version / Date

and - your board

Baseboard Product

Open Software and Drivers Website support

Open category BIOS

Check the details for the Updates.

For example, for SSID (Baseboard ID) 828A

HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS Update (ROM Family SSID 828A)

Information / description files (at this writing)

sp96665.cva

sp96665.html

The email alerts are sometimes "behind" the actual release of the Update.

Thank you for your reply and I have the latest BIOS with F.45A Rev. A on May 24th of this year. So all is good now and good to know about this.
