HP 6300 Pro MT
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a HP 6300 PRO Mt and cannot boot my DVD drive nor USB ports. BIOS K01 V02.05 5/7/2012. No secure boot option in BIOS config so I can't disable it.  No UEFI option in booting option.  I 'm booting from EFI and Support device. Only can boot from Dis0. Yes my DVD is working OK. I talked to Hp and they said it was a BIOS problem. Need help and advice.

reset your cmos by powering down and removing the cmos battery for 5 min, then reinstall and enter the bios and ONLY SET DATE AND TIME, do not touch any other settings for now

create and insert a dos bootable usb key using "Rufus" (or any other bootable image on the key)

poweroff or reboot the system......do you now get a boot from usb prompt?

if not power off and disconect the Hard Drive and power back on does it now boot from the USB key?

if so power off reconnect the HD, power on and in the bios look for the section wher it lists the BOOT ORDER, and move the USB/DVD above the HD and then save, reboot
