I have a DESKTOP-D8FNGSB computer and I would like to update the bios for the new i-7 3770 processor. So I would like to know if there is any update for 3rd generation processors for the PEGATRON CORPORATION 2AB5 motherboard. Or is there an unofficial bios version somewhere? Thank you

There aren't any other BIOS updates you can use.

 

The HP Pegatron motherboards have a customized BIOS.

 

The Intel Core i7-2600 processor would be the best one you can install in your PC.

 

I'm running my HP 8200 Elite CMT with an i7-2600 processor.

 

Works very well.

The HP Elite 7300 Microtower Business PC does not support any Intel 3rd Gen core processors according to page 2 of the HP Quickspecs at the link below.

HP did not release any BIOS updates for that model PC, or they would have been listed on the support page at the link below:

Do you know of any non-original BIOS update? Or is it possible to use the BIOS from the same motherboard that has LGA 1155? Thank you
