HP Pavilion All-in-One PC 27-xa0000a (4PC15AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am receiving a blue screen stating that A Thermal Shutdown has occurred.

System Temperature (900)

I have checked the fan and it is running and clean. After searching here I found that it was suggested to update the BIOS.

Upon upgrading the BIOS, the computer again shutdown before ethe BIOS upgrade completed.

I now have a brick. it wont startup at all, just the power button light comes on.

Any help would greatly appreciated.

you now have a non working motherboard (corrupted bios) replacing it is not a cheap repair

i hope for your sake the system is still under HP warranty

a service shop could have opened the overheating system and determined the cause

(bad fan / old thermal paste/ blocked air vent) and done the repair if out of HP warranty for a moderate fee

you may be better off replacing the AIO System if out of warranty
