HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-2000a (2Z6E1AV)

Hello,

I need technical assistance with a BIOS/AMD fTPM issue that prevents Call of Duty Warzone from passing RICOCHET Secure Attestation.

My system:

- HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2900nc

- Product Number : 4R5F5EA#BCM

- Motherboard: HP Erica6

- Motherboard SSID: 8906

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G

- GPU : Nvidia RTX 3060

- Windows 11 Home

- Current BIOS : F40 (April 8, 2026)

- AMD fTPM firmware : 3.94.0.5

Before the BIOS update, I had BIOS F.36 and AMD fTPM 3.92.0.5. Warzone reported "Failed Attestation" / "BIOS Firmware Update Required".

I updated the BIOS successfully through HP Support Assistant from F.36 to F.40. The BIOS update completed successfully and the fTPM version changed to 3.94.0.5 but Warzone/RICOCHET still reports the same Secure Attestation failure.

This Appears to be a known issue affecting HP Erica6 / SSID 8906 systems.

Could you please escalate this case to the HP BIOS/ firmware engineering team and tell me:

1. Is a corrective BIOS currently being developed or tested for SSID 8906?

2. Is there an estimated release date for the fix?

3. Will the new BIOS update the AMD fTPM firmware to a RICOCHET - compatible version?

4. Is there an internal BIOS build or SoftPaq currently being tested?

5. Is there any official workaround available while waiting for the BIOS fix?

I have already updated to the latest publicly available BIOS F.40 , so reinstalling the same BIOS or clearing the TPM doesn't resolve the problem.

Thank you.

due to activision updating the game's anti cheat requirements some pc's will see errors

the link below may help, do not just gloss over the directions cheak/confirm that each step has been tried

doing so will help you in your effort to resolve this issue and also provide HP support information on the issue
