Pavilion 580-130
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Pavilion 580-130 and I want to upgrade the HDD to SSD--will the Basswood motherboard support NVMe or do I get a conventional SSD?  I was thinking of the WD Blue range--which would work?

Many thanks.

Looking here it appears you can put in a 1T m.2

However I  also read quiote "The configuratoin might vary..." so you should peek under the hood and see if that long m.2 slot is there and nothing is blocking putting in the chip.

Thank you. I will open it up and look at it, however I will have a hard time figuring out the correct fit. How do I identify the NVMe M.2 slot versus the SSD M.2 slot?  Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I have a HP Pavillion Power 580-137c Desktop which has a basswood motherboard. I would like to add  a WD Blue SN550NVMe SSD  to it. ( Trying to nurse this pc for as long as I can before upgrading to a new one with Windows 11 Pro preloaded on it.  Will this motherboard accept this SSD ?

Thanks for all information replies!
