Product: HP Chromebook - 14-x010wm
My Chromebook will only work if it is connected to power, once removed it shuts off. It is not showing the battery symbol to show that it is charging. The light is blinking white while connected to power. I tried to do a hardware reset but that didnt work. Do i need a new battery or is it the computer itself?

If you Chromebook is really from 2015, which is what I see in the HP PCB website, the battery has reached its end of service life.
I would replace the battery in hopes of bringing it back to life.
If that does not work, source a replacement.
