Installed ram and now it beeps. Even after I put the old one back in

This chart may help but could you please post the number of beeps as that is important to diagnose the problem. Also be sure that the RAM is inserted correctly. The slot is keyed and though it may look like the RAM is installed correctly it may not be fully inserted in the slot.
