Your PC's NVMe slot is PCIe Gen 3.0.

While a Gen 4.0 SSD will work, it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds from the Gen 3.0 slot.

This table provides the maximum transfer speeds each PCIe slot generation provides:

PCIe Speeds and Limitations | Crucial.com

For a PCIe Gen 3.0 drive, I prefer and own a Samsung 980 1 TB.

Samsung 980 1 TB PCIe 3.0 (up to 3.500 MB/s) NVMe M.2 Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (MZ-V8V1T0BW)...

If you want to go for more storage, Samsung only make PCIe Gen 4.0 SSDs in that capacity.

Such as this one:

Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD (MZ-V8P2T0BW), 2 TB, PCIe 4.0, 7,000 MB/s Read, 5,000 MB/s Write, Inter...

Or the newer 990 Pro:

Samsung 990 PRO NVMe M.2 SSD, 2 TB, PCIe 4.0, 7,450 MB/s read, 6,900 MB/s write, Internal SSD, For g...
