Hi,

I have been running Windows 11 on a EliteDesk 800 G1 i7 4470, with 16GB RAM, on the Windows insider program, everything working fine, I have been running it a few months without any hitches. However, Microsoft's requirement now for the TPM to be version 2.0, means that my system is not going to be compatible. There are no options to roll back, as I have been running it for a lot longer than 10 days.

My question is, are HP going to release a firmware upgrade that will allow the TPM to run at version 2.0, that can be installed from Windows 11? As the one I found on the HP site advises that I need Windows 10, even though the spec advises that it will run on Windows 11?

Many Thanks

Hi:

Unfortunately the TPM 1.2 firmware version your PC has is too old for the upgrade to v2.0.

Here is the list of supported PC's for the TPM 1.2 to 2.0 firmware upgrade.
