I am trying to play Call of Duty online against other players but cannot due to Bios Firmware not being up to date. I currently have F.45. There are no current updates with HP Support Assistant (app on computer).  I saw on the board that there is a Bios Firmware F.47 that would allow the game to be played against others.  Can you please help? Is there a more current version of Bios Firmware (F.47) that I can upgrade to so that I can play the game? If so, where do I get that version.  Thank you for your help!

Hi @rebecca345711,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for reaching out. I'd be glad to help check this further. Could you please share the exact HP PC model number (or the product number)? BIOS versions are model-specific, so we'll need that information to verify whether F.47 or a newer BIOS is actually available for your system.

In the meantime, please check the following:

  • Make sure you're running the latest version of HP Support Assistant, and then check for updates again.
  • Visit the Official HP® Support, enter your exact model number, and review the BIOS section under Software and Drivers to see what the latest BIOS version is for your device.
  • If a newer BIOS version is listed on the HP support page, download and install it directly from the HP portal while the notebook is connected to AC power.

It's also worth noting that not all BIOS versions mentioned in community posts are released for every model, so we'll want to confirm what's available specifically for your system.

Once you share the PC model, we can help verify the latest supported BIOS version and point you in the right direction.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
