HP Elite 8300 SFF
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello and thanks in advance for any/all help.

I have a HP Elite 8300 SFF which will require a bios flash to a more recent version. I am fully aware of what this requires and of the possible dangers.

My computer tells me nothing on the Sys info screen regarding MoBo make/model, and lists the bios as 2.51.
Running cpu-z lists the motherboard as being HP 3397 ivy bridge Q77, with bios 2.51.
When I open the case and physically check the MB it is a HP FXN1 EDISON REV A E93839 motherboard, 656933-001 (mb820).
This appears to be a totally different board from the HP 3397 (Memphis-S).(?)
Is it still safe to use what the HP website lists as the bios flash for this computer? Also, same question regarding saving the current bios files for in the event a roll back is needed?
Thanks again for the help.
