Product: HP Compaq dc7700-Convertible Minitower-PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I've the  HP Compaq dc7700-Convertible Minitower-PC with the  Hewlett-Packard 0A58H Mainboard and I want to upgrade the CPU to an Intel Core 2 Quad  Q8300.
With the original Bios the PC don't boot wich Bios file I need to Upgrade the Bios, to support the Q8300?

Hi:

 

No quad core processors are supported in the dc7700 model series--certainly not the Q8300, since that runs at 1333 MHz and your PC's motherboard can only run processors with a max FSB speed of 1066 MHz.

 

Below is the link to the dc7700 quickspecs, where you can find the list of supported processors...pages 7 & 8.
