HP EliteDesk 800 G2 SFF
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP EliteDesk 800 G2 SFF with 2 SSD drives in it.
1 disk for Windows 10
And 1 disk for Linux Mint
I replaced the motherboard battery of the HP EliteDesk 800 G2 SFF. So I have lost the old BIOS settings.
Now the HP EliteDesk 800 G2 SFF no longer wants to boot properly, while it did so until yesterday. It's in the bios with the settings, a dual boot of Win 10 and Linux.

Can you also tell me what to set in the BIOS to get the dual boot again?

Apart from a few Workstations that come with Linux distro preloaded, HP provides no support for Linux.

I mention this because with Windows, we can provide links to videos and HP Documents. We can provide links to HP diagnostic apps you can download and run on your PC. We can provide links to HP drivers and to HP BIOS updates, which you can also download and run on your PC. And, nearly everything useful can be done using an application or utility that HP will provide you for free.

For the general population of HP customers trying to use or install Linux, we have NONE of that. No diagnostics. No videos. No downloadable utilities or tools. And, once you get into Linux, you discover that you have to become VERY familiar with the command line to do anything complicated. We have no command line scripts or examples to provide you.

So when I recommend going to the support forum for your Linux distro, it is because THERE is where you will get the amount and kind of support you need.

It would be nice if people read the question first.
Windows and Linux ran on this machine.

My question was about disabling UEFI in the bios of this machine.
Because the motherboard battery has been replaced, the original BIOS setting has been restored.

Sorry, for the late reply.
I got the PC running again. But things didn't always go well.
For example, in the BIOS under advanced there is the save option. And it didn't work.
I had to keep going back to the main menu to save everything about the settings.
And that evening everything worked fine, I was able to switch between Windows and Linux. But the next day I was able to reset everything again.
Placed a new battery 2032 on the motherboard. And now I can suddenly save everything from the sub pages.
I am now in the Linux section, if I want to go to Windows I have to switch it in the BIOS.

Hello, I'm glad you were able to make the change in the bios and save it. The CMOS battery (CR2032) lasts about 5 years !
