I want to update the BIOS of my HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-0847nf Bundle PC (2X9P2EA). The update i found is the file sp156101.exe for windows 11 but it say "this BIOS ipdate is not compatible with this device".

Greetings @leex_

Welcome to the HP Forum.

I can't find any HP drivers for your PC.

Where did you get sp156101.exe?

Your MB is warning you to not install sp156101.exe.

It looks like HP provided an incorrect BIOS update.

Ignore this update.

I cannot find any BIOS and driver updates for: TG01-0847nf and 2X9P2EA.

Check HP System Info installed in your PC's copy of Windows to get the MB SSID. The MB SSID is a four character ID.

Maybe we can find a BIOS update using your PC's MB SSID.

My MB SSID is 8643

Greetings @leex_

Thanks for the info.

Again, I cannot find a BIOS update for your PC. It is best to do the BIOS update specifically tailored to your PC.

This HP Site has the latest W10 BIOS update, I could find, for a different HP product using an identical MB, SSID 8643. W10 updates should work with W11.

This update may change the SKU, serial number, and other data required to get warranty service.

I don't know what the update will do in this programable area of the BIOS.

You may not want to do this BIOS update if your PC is in warranty.

You would have to talk to HP to see why there are no BIOS updates for your specific PC.

Regards
