HP Pavilion 23-g109c All-in-One Desktop PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Looking to see if there ever was an update for the bios on this older machine, and if there was where can I find it? There was nothing on the hp web site and it hasn't had a update since 2014.

If you look under the revision history on the BIOS update link I posted, the oldest one they have listed is 80.13.

Is there any information in the BIOS screen that shows the BIOS SSID of 2BOD?

If so, that should be the correct BIOS update file.

If you look at all available BIOS updates for the different SSID's, none of the previous versions have an 80.08 release, so that must be an original BIOS as shipped from factory.

Hi:

The motherboard specs for your PC indicates that it has the 2B0D BIOS SSID.

HP Pavilion 23-g109c All-in-One Desktop PC Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

This is the last BIOS update HP released for your PC.

Driver - HP Pavilion 23-g109c All-in-One Desktop PC | HP® Customer Support

It was written to be run on Windows 8.1.

I don't know what will happen if you run it on W10.

It may work fine, or it may wreck your PC.

If the PC is working fine, you will have to decide if it is worth the risk to update the BIOS in W10.

Otherwise, you could reinstall W8.1 and update the BIOS.

On boot screen it shows that the current bios version is 80.08, So this bios version 80.21 should work right.

Thanks for all the information the update worked great using win 10. I had to turn off real time protection and I ran the program using win 8 compatibility in file properties and it worked like a charm.

It seemed to improve the response time of mouse and opening files . Again thanks for your help.

You're very welcome.

Glad that the BIOS update worked on W10 and improved your PC's performance a bit in the bargain.
