Black screen, loud fans

So I recently bought the OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-1000i (1S3R9AV)
and now 5 minutes after starting a game the screen goes to black and the fans become super loud and start spinning super fast. I am then forced to shutdown the pc and restart again.  I was hoping someone had a solution for this.
Any feedback is welcome.

Well, how recent was the purchase? This sounds like a hardware problem, graphics card, CPU, RAM, MB, or power supply, or a heat problem.

I would check hardware first. Start the PC. Tap "ESC". Select "F2".

Run system and component tests.

Download Heaven Benchmark (Link), it is free. See if you can run this test to completion.

Download and run Intel Burn Test (Link). This test will run on both AMD and Intel CPUs.

If you purchased it within the last 12 months, contact HP Support to exercise the HP Warranty for HP to repair/replace your computer, at HP's expense.

Hi,

One can also return the PC to the seller if within the return period.

Run the tests to verify the failing component. Now contact HP Support for factory service.
