Hello Support,
My upgraded Pavilion m9150f with Intel Core Duo E6700 Dual-Core Processor 2.6 GHz 4M L2 Cache LGA 775 and Windows 8.1 64-bit OS works fine with the original 3GB RAM installed:
2X SAMSUNG 512MB 1RX8 PC2-5300U-555-12-ZZ
2X SAMSUNG 1GB 1RX8 PC2-5300U-555-12-ZZ
However, despite this computer's specifications (see below), startup returns a black screen with 8GB RAM installed:
4X KOMPUTER BAY 2GB PC2-6400 DDR2 800MHZ NON ECC LD UNBUFFERED
BIOS was updated prior to CPU upgrade.
Power supply MAX OUTPUT is 350w.
Please advise.
Thank you!
