Can I upgrade the graphics card/gpu on this model?
If so, any recommendations for which card/GPU? Mostly looking to boost my FPS while gaming as it can drop out quite a bit.

@vgood -- is this your computer: HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-2000a PC Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support
This page lists:
Memory: 8 GB DDR4-3200 MHz RAM (1 x 8 GB)
Internal Storage: 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD
Processor: AMD Ryzen™ 5 5600G (3.9 GHz base clock, up to 4.4 GHz max boost clock, 16 MB L3 cache, 6 cores)
Power supply type: 180 W Smart AC power adapter
which should be a good base for "gaming".
However, that 180 Watt power-supply is very limited -- many high-end video-cards require over 300 Watts just for themselves. So, if you add-in a video-card, you MUST upgrade your power-supply -- if that is possible.
Before launching your "game" software, open the Windows Task Manager, and switch to its Performance tab. How much of the RAM is being used? How much of the processor is being used -- hopefully less than 10%. Minimize the window, and launch your game. Run it for a minute, and "restore" the Task Manager window. Now, check the RAM and processor usage. My guess is that most of the RAM will be used, implying that you should add 8 GB.
I would first upgrade the RAM, and then re-evaluate the game's performance with this inexpensive upgrade, before considering adding a video-card.
Is this your computer's motherboard: HP Desktop PCs - Motherboard Specifications, Erica6 | HP® Customer Support
This latter page lists: One PCI Express Gen 3 x16
socket on the motherboard, making your motherboard compatible with many "high-end" video-cards.
Note that there are "Gen 4" video-cards, but your motherboard only supports "Gen 3".
So, which video-card you select greatly depends on how much money you want to spend, and the physical space needed inside your computer to insert a "double-wide" video-card, and, as I mentioned, the wattage of the power-supply.
