Product: HP ProDesk 600 G3 Small Form Factor PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a new low profile rx 550 with a tdp of 50 watts yesterday and the pc won’t boot right the gpu and cpu combined use roughly 110 watts out of the 180 and I’m wondering if either my card is giving my pc issues or if there’s something wrong with the unit

I suspect the 180 is not going to work.

 

What is the product ID of your system?

Go here

https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer/

put in your product ID and see if there is a bigger power supply available.

The 320 watt supplies sold on eBay as "600 g3" are for the MT series not the SFF and will not fit.

Try to return the RX550
