Hi @Brandonkobe,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your brand-new HP Omen 40L PC. The computer won't turn on at all, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check Power Connections: Make sure that the power cable is securely plugged into both the PC and a working power outlet. Sometimes cables can come loose during shipping or handling.
- Inspect Power Supply Unit (PSU): Ensure that the power supply unit's switch, if it has one, is turned on. Additionally, check if the power supply fan is operational when you try to turn on the PC. If the fan doesn't spin, the power supply might be faulty.
- Try a Different Power Outlet: Plug the PC into a different power outlet to rule out issues with the outlet.
- Reset Power: Sometimes, a power reset can resolve issues with PCs. Unplug the power cable from the PC, wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and try to turn on the PC again.
- Check Internal Connections: If you're comfortable doing so, you can open the PC case and ensure that all internal connections are secure. This includes connections to the motherboard, power supply, and other components.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
