does not seem normal to me if the test does not go to the end, but maybe nothing to do!
at first you mentioned having the problem with the mouse, and that it worked if you removed and disconnected the dongle usb, does it still?
have you tried another usb port, another mouse?

Hi, At first I thought the mouse froze, but it was actually the whole computer freezing. I tried changing the USB port of the mouse to no avail; the only thing that ever worked to remedy the freezing is to unplug the computer. So far I've had it for around a week. It does this freezing every couple days, mostly in the morning when I turn it on, and once in the afternoon. It's frozen like this maybe 6 times. This morning when I turned it on I saw this:

The pictures folder refuses to sort by date. It sorts by date for the first few files, then reverts to alphabetical.
Also, the computer stopped showing MP4 videos, it made me get a .99 cent HEVC codec at Microsoft! Now it works, but it was working fine before this. Finally, it froze when I tried to wake it up after sleep.

For the Powershell image, just this, nothing else happens?
I admit that it means nothing to me at all, and I did a google search, with what is written, but no conclusive result
finally, it's not the mouse, hp tests, seems ok, up-to-date drivers, and yet, a multitude of problems
all I can offer you now is to try a factory recovery.. (back up your data first)
but you don't install anything more, check if the computer is working..
if there is still the same problem, then contact your dealer
