My question is: I have no idea which SSD I need to purchase on Amazon to upgrade my laptop. because I bought SSD 512 GB M2 NVME GEN 3x4 SSD 2280 TO 2400 MB/S WITH FLASH NAND 3D BUT IT HAS ONLY ONE SEPARATE AND THE ORIGINAL HAS 2 SEPARATIONS (OR SPACES ) IT MEANS 1 SHORT 1 LONG AND 1 SHORT PINES

You did fine because the notebooks with the AMD Ryzen processors support both NVMe (one notch) SSD's and SATA (two notches) SSD's.

 

NVMe SSD's have faster read/write speeds than SATA SSDs have.
