I haven't been able to use the CD drive since buying my computer. The CDs won't fit on the drive wheel. I was told there is something I need to purchase to use the CD drive. I don't know what this would be. Can you help me?

Are you trying to put the CD in upside down?
If your desktop PC has a DVD/CD disk it is pretty straightforward to use.
You do not need to purchase anything special to use it.
I must admit that I never cared for a setup where the optical disk was mounted vertically.
That does make it a bit tricky. You can turn it on its side to simplify things.
You could always buy an USB external DVD rewriter. That would take the hassle out of it.
