Hi,
I have an HP Pavillion Desktop PC 570-p0xx
When starting I get the following error message ...
A fan is not operating correctly.
Continued operation of the computer is not recommended by HP and might cause unpredictable behavior that can result in a shutdown, data loss, or computer damage. The computer will shut down in 15 seconds. To prevent the shutdown and continue operation, press the enter key now.
CPU Fan (90B0
ENTER - Continue startup

The computer appears to work fine.
Any help and ideas would be really appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.

hi
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_6901028-6901145-16
The problem is that sometimes none of the solutions will work.
sometimes it's a problem with the fan, and it will need to be replaced
but from memory it seems to me that users having this problem always had the error message afterwards
Sometimes it won't be fixed by bios update either.
So try the simplest way to start, dismantling, cleaning, checking
See the temperatures, in operation
If there is a problem with the fan, and you can still start the computer, there is a risk of overheating.

Hi Promethee,
The problem still exists.
I have cleaned the inside of the pc to the best of my ability without removing any parts.
I will attempt to take the fan out and give it a thorough clean when I have more time.
It appears that the fan is no longer available.
Thank you for your help.
