HP Pavilion Desktop - 570-p055qe

Hello All,

My father's Desktop has begun displaying messages about the CPU Fan malfunctioning.  Couldn't catch the specific code before it shuts itself down.  I'm assuming the fan is dead or dying, and I want to replace it.  I  have found many  potentially correct  fans online, but none that are *specifically* for his PC model, and I keep getting overwhelmed by all the search results.  Could someone please help me find an appropriate fan replacement ?

This one is close, but again, not specific.

Thank you in Advance

Hi:

Below is the link to the parts list for that model desktop.

HP PartSurfer

The CPU fan is sold as part of the heatsink assembly.

866177-001
Heatsink - AMD BrisRid 65W, Shave2+

You can swap out the bad fan with the good one.

No need to change the heat sink.

I believe you can get the part you need for a little less on eBay...
