I'm getting an error message CPU Fan (90B) and then the computer goes to sleep. I'm guessing the cpu fan has died so I'm wondering if that's something I can replace? Any help would be appreciated.

hi
Yes it must be possible
but sometimes the error message doesn't mean it's the fan that is hs, or there is something else, i have seen people have
HP PCs - 900, 909, 90A, 90B, 90F Error Displays on a Black Screen
replaced the fan before, but still the same problem
if not, you have the hp reference here
