I just want to make sure I'm reading this document correctly.
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03387773#AbT0
Is it saying that the most powerful CPU I can upgrade this to is the Intel Core i5-3570 because it's got the black dot next to it? Or can I crank it all the way up to the i7?
Thank you community!

Hi:
I think the i7 is just missing the black dot like the rest of them have.
I don't see any reason why the i7 wouldn't work along with the rest of them.
This more comprehensive HP document lists the supported processors.
The i7 is shown on page 4. I see no restrictions.

Paul you're the man!
Do you have the document for the 6200 as well?
Thank you so much, I had no idea there were 2 SATA III 6GB ports on there, thought it was just one. And 32 GBs of RAM yes time to max this thing out.
This is great, thanks again!

You're very welcome.
Yes, both the 6300 and 6200 Pros have two SATA 3 ports and both can take up to 32 GB of memory.
Here is the equivalent document for the 6200 Pro...

I did not have to no. I did have to update the BIOS twice, one to a .9 version then to the latest version posted and it detected the "new" CPU and it works wonderfully. For a PC purchased for 64.95 during a NewEgg sale it sure didn't take much to update this to a pretty solid machine. Thanks HP!!
