i don't see the intel q9550 on the approved cpu list 

 

for the 4000 pro series the latest quickspecs  "2012" no longer list the q9550 cpu's as a supported

there may be some confusion due to there being TWO DIFFERENT 9550 CPU's

 

what's the diffrence?.........Power use. The S versions are lower power (65w for S version)

 

the 4000 pro uses the 9550s  65 watt  (note the "S" at the end)

 

                                           9550    95 watt (No s)
