HP 89B4 A

Hi,

I have an Akali motherboard (SSID: 89B4) With a i3-12100 processor.

If I Upgrade My Processor to an i5-12400 or a 12th gen i7-12700, Would i need to Upgrade my PSU?

Hi @ChronosTrigger

It is not necessary, only if you want to put a more powerful graphics card.

Thank You For the Reply. That Really Helps A lot.

Also, I Actually Do Want to Get a Graphics Card as Well For This Computer, as it didn't come with any.

If I'm Trying to get a GeForce GT 1030:

Is This Compatible, Also Would I Need a New Power Supply For this Replacement?

Is there a GPU Option Where i Wouldn't' Need to Replace the PSU?

Thanks For the Help Btw.

if you have a 180 watt power supply, yes.

You need to know how many watts the PSU has in order to offer other alternatives.

I understand. I Will get this Information tomorrow. I'll open the Case and Find Out.

Also, I did the Install on the Processor, No Issues. Thanks Again for the Confirmaiton.
Just Need to Figure out this GPU Issue, and then i'm good to Go!
