HP All-in-One - 22-df0013w
Microsoft Windows 11

I was looking at possibly upgrading to an Intel Core i5-10400 Desktop Processor from the Celeron Processor that came installed in the HP All in One 22-df00113w computer. According to the Upgrading and Servicing Guide, which now has a broken link to "c06615724.pdf", it says it's compatible with a Intel Core i5-10400t Desktop Processor. I have found 3 10400 Intel i5 processors. One has a "t" after the 10400, one has an "f" after the 10400 and one has no letter after the 10400. The one with no letter looks to be the fastest. I am just trying to find out if I have to use the one with the "t".

As Paul_Tikkanen mentioned in an earlier message: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Can-You-Upgrade-Your-Processor-...

I concur with Paul, and I quote: "Looks like the Intel i7-10700T would be the best one you can upgrade to."

[EDIT:] On the other hand, an i5-10400T can be purchased a lot cheaper ($149 and up) compared with an i7-10700T ($316 and up) as per/via eBay [01/18/21].
