Product: Pavilion 690-0073w
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was curious if I could uprade my stock CPU cooler and case fan. I was looking at the Noctua NH-L9i for the CPU but I'm not sure if it will fit. I know the CPU in this model can't  be overclocked but I was just curious if anyone else had done any similar upgrades.

To get the answer to this question, It's not possible to mount the fan on the motherboard. 


HP does not recommend upgrading or downgrading hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product as It may affect the manufacturer's warranty and performance, however, you could change the configuration at your own discretion.
