Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was wonder if the Erica 5 motherboard will support a AMD 5XXX series CPU. since it is a B550A motherboard it should according to AMD but with it being HP I want to make sure before I get one.

Hi

 

The base specs per HP (Link) don't list Ryzen 5xxx CPU support for your MB. So it will probably not work.

 

You would have to check for a HP BIOS update to add support for a newer CPU series.
