My EliteOne 800 G3 won't be able to run Windows 11 as it has a 7th gen CPU ( i5-7500 CPU @ 3.40GHz ). Is it possible to replace this with a later one so I can upgrade to Win11?

Hi:
Below is the link to the quickspecs for your PC's model series.
Only the Intel 7th gen core processors are supported.

I came across this article yesterday, and according to that, we may be able to still run W11 on PC's that don't meet all of the hardware specs.

Thanks Paul. As the first document linked is dated 2017 ( so when 7th gen was the latest thing) I wonder if HP/anyone can confirm if a later gen of the same chip could be swapped in (assuming the same socket)?
