I would like to upgrade the CPU Intel Core i5-8400 on my Pavilion 590-p0340ng. I had in mind the Intel I9-9900. The socket LGA 1151 and the Chipset H370 are OK, and the TDP of the new I9 is 65W like my I5. I am just not sure if the BIOS for my motherboard Lincs (BIOS Version vF.51 From 09.06.2023) supports this CPU. If someone knows is the new BIOS update supports this or another I9 CPU, I would be very grateful.
Best regards

@Vlada3225 , welcome to the Community.
It will not be possible to upgrade the processor to a i9-9900/K. There is no BIOS update that would allow it. Here are the "Processor" and "Motherboard" Specifications for the computer. Look at the section titled "Processor upgrade information" for a list of compatible processors. These have been fully tested to assure they are compatible with your motherboard. Any processor not on the list will not work.

So after a lot of thinking, i decided to take the risk and bought an Intel I9 9900. And I can tell you that my Motherboard did recognized it, my BIOS version is 843b vF.51. So I can say from personal expirience that a HP Lincs Motherboard can support an Intel I9 9900 CPU. I then upgraded everythin else (DDR 64 GB, GC Nvidia 4070 and so on...) My setup is as follows:
CPU: Intel Core i9-9900
GPU: Nvidia RTX 4070
SSD: Seagate FireCuda 530 ZP4000GM30023 4TB
SSD: Seagate FireCuda 120 SSD ZA4000GM10001 4TB
HDD: Seagate ST5000LM000-2AN170 5TB
RAM: Kingston 9905734-422.A00G 2x31.5GB
MBD: HP Pavilion Desktop 590-p0xxx

Good job, @Vlada3225! I am glad that it worked out for you. I can only tell you what HP specs state because if I am wrong HP always gets the blame for my mistake. I do know that others have been able to do upgrades not specified in HP's specs.
