I'm looking to upgrade my CPU, problem is i keep running into 404 errors when i try and pull my boards specs and compatibly, i'm looking to upgrade to the ryzen 7 5700x, got my ducks in a row so to speak updating the motherboard bios and everything but i keep seeing that the 8906 board doesn't support the x, is that correct? do i have to get the g instead, it's not like i need the integrated graphics of the g, i have (currently) the Radeon RX 5500 GPU (upgrading later). I added a picture from HP support assistant with my specs, not the full specs as i'm sure video and audio specs aren't going to play a factor in this.

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
The best compatible processor for your HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-2000a (2Z6C8AV) as fitted with the Erica6 motherboard (SSID: 8906), is the Ryzen 7 5700G (8-Cores, 16-Threads, 3.80 GHz up to 4.60 GHz, 65-watt TDP).
You can purchase one of these CPUs online, starting at around $119, such as this purchase option via an eBay Seller: https://www.ebay.com/itm/395945445870?_skw=Ryzen+7+5700G&epid=25036039452&itmmeta=01JDRCX4T0B9Y0YF3Q....
