I currently have the Intel i7-10700F CPU installed and would like to upgrade to the Intel i7-10700KF CPU. I have a liquid cooler for the CPU so I am not concerned about the additional heat for this new one but the manual doesn't show that CPU as an upgrade option. It has the same socket and same RAM speed, virtually everything is the same except for the base CPU clock and the turbo. I did update my RAM to the latest revision but the update file didn't say anything on whether or not additional CPU's were able to be detected.

Hi
Your MB, per HP at this site: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06692693 is limited to a 65 watt TDP CPU.
You cannot use a 125 watt TDP "K" CPU with this MB.

What @Bill_To said is correct, unless you are willing to swap your Dorado motherboard (SSID: 8704) with a Dorado OC-AMP motherboard (SSID: 8703) with HP p/n: M28845-601, which can handle processors up to 125 watt, including the i7-10700K/F and the i9-10900K/F.
As far as I can tell, the Dorado OC-AMP motherboard is form-fitting, and is 24-pin ATX-power enabled, meaning, you could use a higher-wattage ATX power supply if your current 500-watt power supply can't handle the increased power demand from a "K" or "KF" processor -that is something else you need to keep in mind.
Another thing to keep in mind is that a 125-watt processor is going to generate a lot more heat. You have to ask yourself: is my CPU-heatsink/cooling fan(s) assembly capable to handle to cool one of these bad boys?
Kind Regards,

all this is correct
you could buy either dorado oc motherboard or dorado oc amp motherboard
but will it be worth it?

depending on your needs, and if not already done, you could rather replace the graphics card, with a more powerful one, it could be much more useful
Knowing that the replacement by another hp motherboard, will always be a limit, for a future upgrade
