Product: Pavilion 690 0010
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I want to upgrade the CPU to ryzen 5-5600G. With the motherboard I have is sunflower 8433. Will it fit? I have checked the upgrade on HP.com, don't see 5000 series. Will the BIOS support this newer CPU?

@Willie91 , welcome to the Community.

 

Here are the Product Specifications for your computer.  If you look at the section titled "Processor upgrade information" there is a list of compatible processors.  The 5-5600G is not listed.  The fastest processor in the list is the Ryzen 7-2700.
