Are you thinking about installing a different motherboard in an HP chassis?
I have not seen any HP documentation on the front panel pinouts.
You will have to look at the front panel connections on your PC and compare to industry standard connections to see if you can install a different motherboard in your PC's chassis.
Industry F_Panel connections are as follows:
HDLED and PLED must be connected with + per above. Reset and power connections are reversible.
