Below is the link to the Elitedesk 800 G1 quickspecs.   The supported processors can be found on pages 6 - 9.

 

Microsoft Word - HP_EliteDesk_800_G1_Business_PC_Series_QuickSpecs_12.03.13.docx

 

The best processor you can upgrade to according to the above document would be the Intel® Core™ i7-4770 processor.
